Had an amazing trek with the legendary Dawa lama Tamang. We Flew In through lukla which had amazing views then trekked up to namche bazar and towards the Gokyo lakes. The scenery was breathtaking and changed as each day passed from humid rainforests with clear waterfalls to frosty lakes where some dare to swim. Dawa is an incredibly knowledgable man of the mountains knowing every answer to related questions. He is also one of the friendliest, funny people I have other met and I’m glad we are now good friends where we can meet up in Kathmandu to share a meal and chat. Will definitely be back for another adventure including great views, cultural food and superb company.
