Everest Three High Passes Lodge Trek

The legendary hike through the Sherpa homeland with destination Mount Everest Base Camp is described as a scenic, moderate -strenuous high altitude trek. On the trail many people find out that the snout-like Everest is ranked out by peaks like Ama Dablam and the Lhotse wall. Khumbu area is definitely the best region in Nepal for close-up mountain views. Enshrined in Sagarmatha National Park, it's visited by thousands trekkers yearly- a mere handful compared to the Annapurna region. This trip features 4 nights in Kathmandu and a 17-day trek to both Kala Patthar and Gokyo Lakes at the base of Everest.  From Gokyo, more of Mount Everest is visible though from a slight greater distance then from Kalapatthar. The mountains are very spectacular; from Gokyo Ri you have tremendous views on Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse and Makalu as well as the great Nguzumpa Glacier, the largest in Nepal. During this Everest High Passes Lodge Trek you enjoy the most dramatic panoramas in Khumbu region!
