Awesome Awesome Awesome!

What else can describe this experience? We came to experience Nepal and Traveltimes Treks delivered. Our trip included helicopter ride to Everest basecamp, Pokhara/Annapurna viewing, Chitwan National Park Safaris, and tours of Kathmandu and historical sites. We had Sushil for cultural part and Dawa for the rest. Sushil was very knowledgeable when comes to history of Nepal, and the interweaving of Hinduism and buddhism in the culture. We learned so much, and was very grateful for the long day Sushil spent with us.

Dawa accompanied us and guided us for the rest of the trip. First of all, the itinerary he gave us was very clear and well spelled out. We were on the move constantly and it was so nice to be able to refer to the itinerary and know exactly where we were heading and what we were looking to do. Second, we felt safe always. Dawa was good at acclimatizing us whenever needed and was good at looking out for our safety, be it food/ drinks or safari safety, etc.

Our Itinerary was really fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone. We went by Helicopter to Kalapatha for Everest viewing. And that was truly epic: to be able to see Everest Basecamp, Kombu Icefall and First camp all together. You realize this universe is so amazing and everyone who tries to summit Everest is crazy. (LOL) We just thought the Helicopter ride was really amazing and worth the money. It was an awesome experience.

We went to Chitwan National Park. That was another amazing experience. Again, everything was very well planned. We stayed at Green Park resort. The accommodation was fantastic and food was too. The safari trips were so much fun and we saw so many single horn Rhinos there along with a multitude of other animals and birds. Awesome!

We also went to Pokhara to go for a sunrise viewing of Annapurna and Machapuchrey. To be able to see the mountains light up one by one while the sun slowly rise to peak over the mountains, is an unique experience. You only get this when someone knows the mountains very well takes you to the right spot, shows you and points to each mountain at the right time. Awesome !

We had am amazing time in Nepal. Traveltimes Treks was very professional with their planning and execution. Every part of our trip went without a snag. Their prices were so reasonable too. Dawa was such a good guide that before we finished our tour we were already planning another trip with him. We could tell he obviously loves mountains, Nepal and people. He had such great energy the entire trip, which just made the trip so much more fun.

Go with Traveltimes Treks! You’ll be safe and have a great time.

What an awesome Trip!

We had a private tour to Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan Safari. Our main guide Dawa was very efficient and knowledgeable. He did a great job planning and arranging a fantastic 2 weeks trip for us. He showed us a lot of historical temples and sites in the Kathmandu area that were World Heritage Sites. He had us try the local food which was delicious. We went to an interesting local coffee shop that serve Nepalese coffee. We loved the wildlife in Chitwan National Park including the Two horned Rhinos and the many beautiful birds. Another amazing experience was our helicopter ride to see Mt. Everest which included breakfast at Hotel Everest View. While eating our breakfast we had a breathtaking view of the Himalayan mountains. Dawa’s brother RD came on some of our hikes and helped carry some of our gear. Dawa and his brother became not only our guides but good friends. We had a great learning experience and would highly recommend Traveltimes Treks to anyone wanting to go to Nepal.
